Lamanai

Take a relaxing boat ride through the New River of Northern Belize and see nature at its best. Crocodiles sun-bathing, many other varieties of wild flowers including beautiful orchids hanging from the jungle flora and birds singing. The guide will also point out the medicinal plants used by the Mayans some of which are still used today.

The Lamanai Mayan Ruin had one the longest spans of Mayan occupation, from 1500 BC to the 1800′s and still displays many exotic features of ancient art and architecture.
